1. The Healthy Food Challenge
The Healthy Food Challenge (the "Challenge") is an initiative by Novo Nordisk A/S, Denmark ("Novo Nordisk") in partnership with the organisation EAT, Norway ("EAT") to identify and seed-fund innovative, community-level solutions that can advance healthy and sustainable food environments for vulnerable people.
The Healthy Food Challenge is run on thehealthyfoodchallenge.com (hereinafter referred to as "platform" or "Platform") which is delivered and managed by Nosco ApS, Denmark ("Nosco").

2. Basics
All contents and comments to other discussions have to be provided in English to ensure an efficient communication between all Participants.
All Platform content is of non-confidential nature and open to all points of view on intended health-related topics. However, we reserve the right to remove any post or reply that includes derogatory, abusive, offensive, obscene, violent, inappropriate or inaccurate content of any kind.
Participants shall interact with other Participants respectfully, as the Participants would do in any professional setting. Hate speech, discriminatory remarks, intimidating behaviour or posts, or any abuse of the platform may also constitute grounds for participant’s immediate removal from the Challenge.
All decisions pertaining to participants and ideas admitted or selected for any stage of the Challenge including the selection of Top 30, Top 10 and winning proposals are final.
While all efforts are undertaken to prevent this, we cannot fully rule out unplanned downtime of any online or offline service for or connected to the Challenge.
Acceptance of these Terms & Conditions are prerequisite for participating in The Healthy Food Challenge.
3. Data privacy
Novo Nordisk and its partners are required by law to protect your personal data. This Notice explains how we process (e.g. collect, use, store, and share) your personal data. We will process any personal data about you in accordance with this Notice and with applicable law.

We get your personal data from you directly when you sign-up to the Challenge. The personal data that will be collected is: a) Your first name and last name; b) your email; c) the organisation you work for; d) the country that you are based in.

4. Use of cookies
4.1 What are cookies?
To enhance your website experience, our websites and the Platform uses cookies to automatically collect certain information from you, the Participant. Cookies are text files that we place in your computer's browser to store your preferences. The information we gather through cookies and other methods, may become associated with other Personal Data about you if you choose to provide this information to us by, for example, registering with our website / Platform. Once you provide our website / Platform with Personal Data, this information may be linked to data stored in the cookie or collected about you through other means.

We use cookies for statistical purposes (including measurement of frequency of page visits, used browser, device, operating system and time and date of page views), and to optimize user experience. In most cases there are no industry standard options for disabling cookies without completely disabling the functionality and features they add to the website. 4.3 Disabling cookies

4.4 The cookies we set
If you create an account with us, cookies will be used for the management of the signup process and general administration. These cookies will usually be deleted upon logout. However, in some cases, cookies may remain afterwards with some of your site preferences. Cookies help users avoid logging in again when visiting a new page. These cookies are typically removed or cleared when you log out to ensure that only registered users can access restricted features and areas when logged in. When a Participant submits data to through a form, such as idea forms or comment forms, cookies may be set to remember for future correspondence.
5. Intellectual property rights
The Participant ensures to the best of his/her knowledge that the submitted ideas, materials and information are neither of confidential nature nor unlawfully obtained by the Participant.
Participant’s contributions through use of the Platform that give rise to any intellectual property right interest, hereunder copyright, patent rights, design rights, etc., shall remain at all times the sole property of Participant. In exchange for use of the Platform, Participant hereby grants Novo Nordisk a non-exclusive, cost-free, world-wide license to use the content generated by the Participant for the Challenge solely for the purpose of conducting the Challenge.
The Participant bears his/her own expenses resulting from his/her participation in the Challenge. Novo Nordisk shall not be obliged to pay any compensation (of whatever nature) to the Participant in connection with the participation in the Challenge.
6. Disclaimer
Novo Nordisk declines all liability whatsoever for loss or damage of any kind that you or any third parties may incur in connection with access to or use of the Platform or parts thereof, or from links to third parties' websites. Anyone visiting the platform, using the information contained therein, or availing themselves of the offers featured therein does so at their own risk and responsibility.
Novo Nordisk also declines all liability for lost earnings, for Internet-related malfunctions of all kinds (e.g. suspension of operations, disruption of functions, viruses, pernicious components, terrorist acts, etc.), for misuse by third parties (hacking into data, copying, etc.) and for loss of programs or other data in your information systems. This applies even when the Platform might indicate the possibility of such damage.
7. Linked websites
Links on the platform may lead to third parties' websites which are outside the control of Novo Nordisk. Novo Nordisk cannot accept responsibility for the correctness, completeness or lawfulness of the content of these websites or of any links to further websites, nor for any offers, products or services contained therein. Users access the linked websites at their own risk.
